NaTerra Project - Earth
It is on the land that forests are present, and, as the project on the land is a forest school, this is one of the most important natural elements for us.
It is on Earth that we live, that trees grow and it is on Earth that children will walk with their feet firmly on the ground, run, play, climb trees, discover ecosystems, fauna, flora, adventures and friendships.
The earth allows its mixture with other elements to create excellent toys and games for fine and gross motor development.
Earthly toys are those of the universe, of the home, of the family, those that imitate cultural life, those that have contact with matter and those that have their feet on the ground, those that suggest social roots.
When we play, we bury ourselves in sand, mold objects with clay and investigate what exists inside things, such as the anatomy of animals or what is found inside a certain shell. These are earth toys.
In this context, playing house, imitating a car, making food, simulating life experiences, and pretend play are all part of the EARTH element. Building, sawing, nailing, and other games that have an impact are also considered earth games.
The earth teaches us more about ourselves than all the books. Because it resists us.
